Asam pedas is a delicacy that is spicy and tangy at the same time. It can be made with fish or prawns. In this dish I’ve chosen snapper fish. You can substitute it for other types of fish too.

Instructions

  1. In a cooking pot, preheat it and add in cooking oil.
  2. Immediately pour in Nisa Bakri Asam pedas paste. Stir and mix it well.
  3. Add in water and throw in small chilies, ladies finger, torch ginger, laksa leave.
  4. Add in the fish, sliced tomatoes and big chilies. Let it cook 10 minutes and ready to serve hot deliciously with hot basmati rice.

  • 3 tbsp. cooking Oil
  • 150g Nisa Bakri Asam Pedas Paste
  • Small Chilies (Red/Green)
  • 1 Torch Ginger (Cut into half)
  • 2 stalks laksa Leave
  • 5 Ladies finger
  • 2 Sliced tomato
  • 2 big Chilies (Red/Green)
  • 1 ½ cup water
